Awake and see. Arise and sing.

“The Bright and Morning Star” (Rev. 22:16) has come to bring

The Peace we long for; the Rule we need;

The Light for our shadows; the Answer to our plea

For Help and Hope and Holy Reprieve.

Awake from sin’s lulling and dark slumbering.

Arise to bright wonder, the true majesty

Of the Word made flesh, God wrapped vulnerably

In human skin, to embrace humility,

That He may extend salvation to lost humanity.

Awake and see! Arise and sing!

Joy has come to the world! Receive your King!
