Rain makes seeds grow.
Rain makes streams flow.
As dreary drops streak my window,
I ache and await a rainbow
Of God’s promise to break through dark clouds below –
To illumine His purpose, His glory to show . . .
All the while, He tucks me under His wing’s shadow
And whispers, “There’s so much more of Me to know;
Trust Me, the Keeper of the rain. I want you to drink it
and grow.”
“For land that has drunk the rain that often falls on it, and produces a crop useful to those for whose sake it is cultivated, receives blessing from God.” Hebrews 6:7
